Comfortable and clean

Overall experience was comfortable. Good location. When they clean/tidy the room, they leave personal items as they are.

Decently priced and the location is decent.

Clean, courteous staff, good breakfast.

The WiFi did not work for most of our stay, while all of the surrounding hotels and restaurants had perfectly good WiFi service. The location is tight, the neighboring hotels only a few meters away. The walls and windows did not insulate from sound very well.

The staff was friendly. The location was central and close to everything; but there was difficulty looking for the place, you have to go through some alleys (dark at night), especially with all your luggage rolling them through the sandy beach. The bed is comfortable and the room is nice, although you have to go up the stairs and with our age it’s somewhat hard to climb. Overall our stay was great after a big wedding event we attended to.

My Château de Boracay Experience

But I would still come back, because the staff are generous and accommodating. Especially the guy staff who assisted us every breakfast is polite and hospitable. He did a great job in assisting us and always ask us if we wanted to make up our room. He automatically gave me a hot water the second morning we ate breakfast because I always have my own 3in1 coffee. I really commend him, and that is one of the reason why I still wanted to go back to this hotel. The electric kettle, shower heater, ref, water dispenser for all and a good TV signal are also a PLUS.

The room is not properly cleaned when we checked in, the floor is still a bit sandy. When we requested to make up the room on our 3rd day, the used mugs and the small towel in the bathroom were still uncleaned and unchanged. A lot of mosquitoes are roaming inside and outside the room, though it is normal to the area but some hotels I've been provide "katol" for the guests to lit whenever they need to or other means to lessen mosquitoes. Faucet is almost broken but still usable. Very Slow to No internet signal and network connection inside the room, though they have a wifi provided.

The rest of the staff we encountered were all so nice, happy, sociable and helpful.

There was an integrity concern here. We arrived a few hours earlier than the 2pm check-in time. The front desk lady promised to assign our group of 5 in ground level rooms and called housekeeping to prepare rooms 101 and 106. She promised to give us a call once the rooms are ready as we decided to have lunch 1st. She never did call. When we came to collect the keys, she said that our rooms were 106 and 303. When questioned, she denied that she promised us anything at all. When we insisted that she did, she came up with a story about assigning the room to a family with old people. I doubted the authenticity of her story. Thereafter, I requested for a change of room for the 2nd day. She turned down the request because she said the hotel will be fully booked and no room will be available. I purposely sat down at the lobby during check-in time on our 2nd day and there she was, giving away rooms in the 1st floor left and right. Next, I updated our booking from a twin sharing room to a triple sharing room upon check-in and paid for the difference in price. I found out on the following day that the number of occupants was not updated. Only 2 people were registered in a supposed triple sharing room for which I paid for additional charge. How did I know? Another staff confirmed that only 2 occupants were registered in the room and given the fact that only 2 breakfast coupons were provided for a supposed triple sharing room. The front desk lady said, it is 'ok' because she knows that there were 5 people altogether for both of our rooms. On check-out day, as we were about to leave, I asked for an official receipt for the additional payment I made. It was only then that she wrote down a receipt for me. In addition, room 303 had an unfresh smell. The management should look into this matter.

Affordable room rates, location about 3 minutes walk to the beautiful and not crowded white powdery beach, hospitable Boracay residents and very attentive hotel staffs. I traveled solo and first time visiting Boracay. I availed travel guide who stayed with me the whole trip. The service is very personalized. It went over and beyond my expectations. Plus a lot of police officers and security patrolling the place so I feel safe.

Nothing. I feel with the quality of beach which is white and powdery and lukewarm water. Beach is less crowded too. Plus the hospitality of residents and very attentive, polite and modest people. I feel I should be paying more and reminds me of Honolulu. I feel at home. Please remember to give generous tips and no low balling if you come visit the beautiful island. I saw some tourist doing it.

Memorable One

Friendly Staff namely Ms. Blonde, Ms. May and the preparation of our Breakfast is very good. The place had a Good Location located in Station 2. Good Amenities with cosy beds and minimal noise from the outside night life and have a room good for 4 persons which is good for a family of 4. Likewise the warm hospitality of Bro. Yul Cariscal with a touch of Brotherly Love
